Birdie's Haven of Punxsutawney is a free health clinic staffed by amazing doctors, nurses, and volunteers here to give you access to high quality medical care for free. All services offered are always free of charge. We offer primary and preventative care to anyone. No insurance or income questions. This really is free medical care for all.

Our Mission

To help people who avoid going to the doctor because of financial concerns. We want to help those who fall in the cracks in our current health care system to have access to medical care so they can get healthy or better to stay healthy by having regular medical visits.

Who Do We Serve?

This is for anyone who needs medical care who also has to weigh the financial cost. There are no income requirements. Also you can have insurance and come to the clinic. Our goal is to help the working individual and families. For example you work and you have a high deductible, say $3500 a year. Your copay is $75 for a doctor’s visit. You have insurance but you still cannot afford to go regularly to see a doctor because the cost is still a burden.

These are the people we wish to help. Those who are trying their best to get ahead but haven fallen into a crack in our present insurance system. We want to be there for you. We don’t ask about insurance or income because everyone’s situation is different to what they can or cannot afford.

Our goal is to say there are no barriers to access to medical care because the most important thing in your life is your health. The best way to stay healthy is not to just go be seen when you are sick, but to be seen regularly so you head things off before they develop into a problem that could not only be very expensive but also life threatening.

So many debate on whether or not to go to the doctor, we want you to know you no longer have to ask that question. Birdie’s Haven is here for everyone, and truly puts your long term health above all other concerns.

What We Offer

• You will be seen by a certified Nurse and then by a certified Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician’s Assistant. They will take the time to get to know you and what is going on with your health. A course of treatment will then be prescribed.
• We will follow-up with you and be sure you are getting the care you need.
• We can order medical equipment and write prescriptions. We also offer financial help to pay for these services.
